Highlights
- You know it's a good dual meet when three National Elite 5k times are posted. Weston (MA#3 D2), Lincoln-Sudbury (MA#3 D1), and Wayland combined for 2 runners under 19 minutes, 5 under 20 minutes, and 13 under 21 minutes. Weston's big three swept the event with Olivia Brackett taking home the win in 18:52. She was followed by Charlotte Walmsley in 18:59, and Abigail Pohl in 19:24. Marika Crowe was 4th (19:46) as Weston handed L-S their first dual meet loss in five years. Results
- MA#6 Sandwich just passed up MA#7 Dennis-Yarmouth in the MSTCA rankings released yesterday; last week Dennis -Yarmouth was ranked #6 and Sandwich was #7. But the Blue Knights justified the move in their dual meet on Tuesday. David Allen (15:39) and David Regan (15:48) went 1-2 for Sandwich on the 2.8 mile home course, but the race was far from over. Dennis-Yarmouth took the next two spots with Collin Merrill and Sean Nee finishing in 15:50 and 16:07 respectively. After 16 minutes of racing the meet was still up for grabs....... until Sandwich took the next three spots in just over 6 seconds. The infamous Sandwich 1-5 gap was 45 seconds and it resulted in a 21 to 38 win. Results.
- Hingham and Pembroke traded spots through the first four girls, then Hingham took 5th, 6th, and 9th to edge Pembroke 26 to 31. Chelsea Savage of Pembroke won the race by 30 seconds; covering the 2.9 mile course in 18:54. Results
- For the second time this season, Camille Blackman of Longmeadow set a course record at Frontier Regional High School. Blackman won the event in 18:28, breaking her own record of 18:38 set earlier this season. Longmeadow beat Monson 15-48 and Frontier 20-39.
- Nick Christensen of Peabody set a course record of 13:37 for the 2.65 mile Swampscott High School Course, and Peter Hale of Swampscott finished second in 14:07. Hale's time was just one second off the school record. Peabody eventually secured the 24 to 31 point win after trading spots with Swampscott for the first eight places.
- Oliver-Ames girls and boys clinched the Hockomock League Davenport Division with wins over Foxboro on Tuesday. Drew Beck finished the regular season undefeated and posted a course record of 16:12 at the Foxboro home course. Results
- Alex Giese finished first as the Franklin girls won their second straight Hockomock League Kelly Rex Division title with 22-34 win over North Attleboro. Giese covered the 3 mile North Attleboro High School course in 18:45 and was followed by teammate Lauren Hagen in 19:00.
- Parker Charter won the battle of the unbeaten in the Colonial League; getting the best of Monty Tech 22 to 37. The Panthers took 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th, and then 8th-13th to secure the win. Results
- Bishop Feehan had an impressive day against Coyle and Cassidy. Junior Evan Grandfield set a new home course record of 15:21 en route to a 15-49 point win. Mike Wood (15:28) and Henry Dodge (15:33) also moved into the top five all-time for the 2.9 mile distance.

Holliston freshman Katie Salley finished second in 18:01 over the 2.85 mile course and teammate Jill Rosati was two seconds behind her as the Panthers stunned previousely unbeaten Medfield 26-29 on Wednesday.
