Bay Staters Could Shine At Dartmouth Relays

Milton's Bridget Mitchell, who captured the Div. 2 state X-C crown, is a top seed in the mile.

For the girls, Colette O'Leary of Milton will be a runner to keep an eye on in the 1,000m. She's done 2:54.21 for the five-lapper and also has a best of 2:11 for the 800m.

Milton's Bridget Mitchell, who ranks No. 6 nationally in the 1K, will bump up the distance at Dartmouth where she's entered in the seeded mile.  This will be her first time in the event this season. She was fourth at the Outdoor State Meet in June where she ran her all-time best of 4:58.94. She was the Div. 2 state cross-country champion this past fall.

Plymouth South hurdler Madelyn Sessler, who was third in the 100m HH at the New England Championships, is ranked No. 2 in the 55m HH at Dartmouth based on her best of 8.33.

In the high jump, Newton North's Liana Reilly is among the favorites. She currently is tied for eighth in the country with her PB of 5-6 from a Bay State Conference Meet a few weeks ago.
