Andover's Andrew Lucia is one of the top seeds in the 400m at Dartmouth.
The Bay State will be well represented at the Dartmouth Relays this weekend with several athletes capable of top finishes, possibly winning, inside Leverone Field House.
Beginning with the boys, St. John Prep's Nikolas Reardon is among the top seeds in the long jump and the high jump. Reardon's best chance to earn gold is the high jump. A week before Christmas at the MSTCA Winter Festival, he had a three-inch personal best with a winning leap of 6 feet, 7 inches, a height that ranks No. 6 in the nation. Reardon also has done 21-6.25 (outdoor) for the long jump.
Andrew Lucia of Andover is one of the best in the 400m. He owns a PB of 51.63 seconds and has done 36.7 for 300m.
North Andover's Erick Duffy could make things happen in the pole vault. He has the field's best leap with his 16-6 effort from his first-place finish at last June's Hudson Valley Flying Circus Pole Vault Academy Championships. He was sixth in the event at the New Balance Nationals Outdoor Championship.
Brookline's Andrew Chabon (7.86) and Waltham's Antonio DiGenova (7.95) rank among the top three in the 55m hurdles.
Chelmsford's Zach Jarnagin will be looking for a PR performance in the mile where he owns a top time of 4:35.90, which he did recently at a Merrimack Valley Conference Meet on Dec. 29.
