Peter Hale Senior, Swampscott High School
This week's Marathon Sports Athlete of the week is awarded TO Peter Hale from Swampscott High School. Peter had quite the week as he finished 2ND in the Frank Kelley Invitational, and turned around the following weekend and finished an amazing 3rd place at the very tough Thetford Woods Trail run in Vermont. He had the third fastest time of the day at Wrentham. In 2011, Hale placed second at the Eastern Mass meet, and 10th at the All State Finals. He also had a personal best of 9:25 for the 2 mile run.
