Top Returning Boys Runners for Each Cross Country Event

Below are the leaders of each of the 14 different races run by Massachusetts Boys Cross Country returnees. Some notable performers include Lexington High School's Nicholas Porter and Hampshire Regional High School's Chris Vayda.

Porter is a rising Junior who ran both his Mile and 2 Mile personal records during his 2018 Outdoor Track & Field season - 4:40.98 and 9:58.95 respectively. Porter clocked a 15:35.50 5K at the 2018 Middlesex League Championships, securing the top spot on our returnees 5K list. 

Vayda tops our list of top 3 Mile performers with a time of 15:49.49 that he ran at the 2018 37th Burnt Hills Cross Country Invitational. A rising Senior, Vayda has a personal record of 10:10.10 in the 2 Mile that he ran at the 2018 Western Massachusetts Division 2 Championships
