Our top pick in this race is Mohawk Trail's Meghan Davis. The junior recently finished second at the PVIAC Championships where she ran a PB of 18:26.22. She also claimed victory in the unseeded race of the Wickham Park (CT) Invitational in where she clocked 19:53 on a difficult 5K course. Lenox Memorial's Ellen Huth, a freshman, should not be ignored. She ran 18:47 at the Twilight Invitational. In 2016, she was eighth overall in this race as an eighth-grader. Lenox Memorial's Magdalena Sorrentino and Tate Morrison, Hampshire Regional's Sophia Prouty and Lenox Memorial's Marion Huth have all broken 20 minutes this season and could finish in those top positions. Lenox Memorial appears to be the odds on favorite for team honors this weekend with five of its runners ranked among the top seven.
