D5 Team
They won over Newburyport on a tie-breaker in 2014 and then won handily over the Clippers in 2015, so what will this year bring for Hamilton-Wenham? For starters, Newburyport is a bit out of the picture and last year's 3rd-place team from Norwell appears to be a credible threat.
Norwell boys were 12 points behind the Newburyport Clippers last year at Wrentham and bring back five from last year's varsity squad. Realistically they have two strong front-runners that could potentially overtake Hamilton-Wenham's top runner, Daniel Allara.
Hamilton is given the slight advantage entering the first official week of the season due to their tighter spread, but if Norwell finds a #5 to step up, we could be in for a real treat during the post-season. While they might not have a shot at the title, Newburyport is still a solid team with a low stick and could make things even more interesting between Hamilton and Norwell.
