Here is a quick look at the all-time New England boys outdoor two-mile list The list contains the top-10 performances and the top-45 performers. It should include all performers under 9:08. The oldest performance on the list dates back to 1965 [9:00.8, Art Dulong/Randolph]. All 3200 meter times have been converted. Area, state and class records are at two-miles only, no converted 3200 meter times for these records. There is one question on the Mass. frosh outdoor record: Allen’s time is the fastest I came up with so far. Anyone have a definitive faster frosh time, please let me know. Corrections, comments, criticisms [if any], welcomed.

Another look back back at the Amazing All State Finals..We had records broken broken, dramatic finishes, historic new events, and much more at the All State Track and Field finals at Bridgewater State University last weekend.
Sarah Armstrong knew very early in the mile at yesterday's All-State meet that the talented pack would pull her to a fast time on the steamy Bridgewater State University track. The Needham sophomore did a whole lot more than just hang on. Armstrong moved up at the gun lap and waged a fierce duel with teammate Kaleigh Hughes over the final 100 meters and pulled out the win with a lean at the finish line in a personal best of 4 minutes 56.20 seconds. Hughes threw herself across the line to take second in 4:56.33 and Erin Dietz of Bedford was two steps back in 4:56.97. The race was a burner as the top five finishers all set personal best marks and loaded with youngsters with one senior in the top eight.
There were some very close races, and several all State meet records broken at Bridgewater State University yesterday. Newton North took home another state title for the girls, and the Woburn Boys were crowned team champions. It was also a historic day as three new events took place. The Wheelchair Shot Put and 100 Meter races took place. The pentathlon also took place for the first time.
Today is the big day! The all-state finals at Bridgewater State University. Milesplit Mass will have all the results including a live photo-stream!
Here is a list of the MIAA All State Meet Order of events as well as the Live Results Feed.
The MIAA State Meet has arrived and Mlesplitmass has created this neat little page with all the information in one location.
Listed below is a look at the updated event-records for the 2014 Mass. All-State Meeting, scheduled for this Saturday, June10, at Bridgewater State College. Like some of the Divisional Records, a few of the sprint races and relays need a bit more research to unearth correct FAT that should be listed in the records section. I have added World Jr. Records as well as a few years of previous champions. By next year I’ll have completed a complete list of both the boys and girls champions.
