BROWN NORTHEAST INVITATIONAL
With Manhattan also taking place this weekend, this year's race will be minus a considerable amount of New York schools, which have often made the trip to Goddard. But the competition should still prove fierce for the schools that will toe the line.
Taking a quick glance at the entries, a handful of Massachusetts' schools will be at the Brown meet, including the Lowell boys and Milton girls with top runner Bridget Mitchell. At this point we are unsure if Mitchell and her teammates will be competing in the Championship event, a race that will include last year's runner-up and defending New England champion Jacqueline Gaughan of Exeter (NH).
