Littleton Twins Make Big Debut
This past Saturday's Frank Kelley Invite was the first time most got to see Littleton standouts and twin sisters Sarah and Kaitlyn Roffman. The previous two fall seasons, the gifted siblings have been honing their talents on the soccer fields. With a strong background from the track oval - Sarah's a sub five-minute miler and Kaitlyn has done 5:06 - it didn't surprise us that they'd be able to pick up where they left off. That was certainly apparent at Wrentham where Sarah posted the fastest time of the day to win the Championship race in 18:46.62. Kaitlyn also broke 19 minutes and made it a 1-2 finish for the Roffmans by taking the runner-up spot in 18:53.70. As we have noted before, this could, and should change the landscape up front once the State Meet rolls around in mid November.
