D2 Team
Over the past few years, the team race in D2 has always been a good mix of different teams battling for bragging rights. Certain squads such as Mansfield, Lincoln Sudbury, and Chelmsford have always been pretty constant fixtures, but things have shifted recently. After taking the Bay State League and Eastern MA Champs, Wellesley Raiders are our pick for once again taking the crown in November. Ben Matejka is a very solid front runner and will have some nice support from teammate, Jamieson Mazzola.
The fight for second in D2 will be a great brawl between Marshfield and Needham. As of now the advantage will go to Marshfield with their very tight 1-5 spread. If Needham hopes to challenge the Rams, they'll really need to find a way to tighten up that drop off between their #2 and #3-5 runners.
