Time Limits With 16 races on the schedule, the MSTCA must follow a strict time schedule. Therefore, we
are unable to time athletes who cannot meet the following standards for their race - the clock will be off, but
the chute will still be open. These limits are established/reviewed by the MSTCA XC Committee each year.
Girls Boys
Championship: 26 minutes Championship: 22 minutes
Open 5K: 28 minutes Open 5K: 25 minutes
HS 3K: 18 minutes HS 3K: 16 minutes
MS 3K: 26 minutes MS 3K: 24 minutes
Awards Medals to finishers 1-25 in each race. Medals will be distributed in the chute.
Plaques to the Top 3 Teams in the Championship Races only.
Entry Information and Limits
There is no need to declare which athletes are in which races prior to the date of the meet.
Up to 7 athletes may be entered in each of the Championship races. Coaches are not required to
enter any athletes in the Championship races.
An unlimited number of athletes may be entered in the Open 3K and 5K races, but all athletes should
be able to meet the time limit standards posted above.
Younger athletes may be entered in the 11-12
th Grade 3K races, but older athletes may not be entered
in the 9-10
th Grade 3K races.
The middle school races are limited to athletes in Grades 5 - 8.
The Championship races are open to teams from both Division 1 and Division 2.
The Championship races are the only races which will be team scored.
Entry Deadline Monday, September 23, 2019
All entries are done on www.directathletics.com. The MSTCA will offer the meet on DA to high schools and
middle schools through separate invitations.
Coaches of teams with only high school competitors should have their DA accounts connected to their
high school and register their runners through this account.
Coaches of teams with both middle school and high school competitors should have their DA accounts
connected to their high school and register both their middle school and high school runners through
this account.

Late Entry Policy
If a school misses the Monday deadline, the coach must contact and receive permission from the Meet
Director to enter.
September 24: Late entry fee is $50 per single gender team
September 25: Late entry fee is $100 per single gender team
After September 25, no entries will be accepted. Late fees must be paid before your team is allowed to compete
Entry Fees: $16 per individual
$180 max per gender per school ($335 maximum per school if both b/g attend)
Each school must notify the MSTCAs Finance Officer at mstca.billing@gmail.com of its payment plan for the entry
fees prior to the day of the meet.
** If a school is using the MSTCAs Single Payment method, the school should notify the MSTCA via email and include
any Purchase Order number which is attached to the Single Payment.
** If a school is paying with a Purchase Order for this meet only, the school should notify the MSTCA of the PO
number via email.
** If a school is paying by check in advance, the school should mail the check to the address listed below and notify
the MSTCA via email.
** If a school is paying by check on the day of the meet, the school should notify the MSTCA of this intent via email.

ADDITIONAL NOTES
No grills, fires, or cooking is allowed at the Wrentham Development Center grounds.
No dogs or other animals are allowed on the Wrentham Development Center grounds
Coaches must keep their athletes from running between the buildings where patients reside.
Remind your spectators that there is a $5 parking fee per carload.
All tents must be WEIGHTED & SECURED
NO DRONES are allowed at any MSTCA events.
