MIAA Western / Central Divsion 2 Championships 2013

 The Western Mass. competition turned out to be too much to handle for local teams at the newly combined Central/West Division 2 track and field championships on Monday at Westfield State, but not for one athlete.  Oxford’s Emily Dawidczyk rose above her peers as the meet’s only triple winner. Dawidczyk put sixth-place Oxford in contention all by herself, providing all 30 of her team’s points with victories in the 200 meters (25.21), 100 hurdles (14.80) and long jump (17-03.75).

DUE TO THE CURRENT FORECAST FOR TOMORROW, THE MIAA AND TRACK AND FIELD MEET DIRECTORS HAVE MOVED ALL SATURDAY DIVISIONAL MEETS TO MONDAY. .
