Corey Yifru, Fr. - Oliver Ames

It wasn't a jammed-packed season for the freshman, but when he did compete, he was one of the Bay State's best.

Yifru ran 9:51 in his lone race of 3,200m, running the state's fastest freshman time. After a promising cross country season, the underclassman will enter the 2026-2027 season as one of Massachusetts's most promising distance runners.

Kalila Daley, So. - Berkshire

It turned out to be a spectacular day at the NEPSTA DII Championships for the sophomore from Berkshire.

Daley scored wins in the 100m and 200m dashes last week, setting a personal best time of 24.75 in the 200m. Both times end the season ranked inside the top 10 in their respective events, setting herself up as one of the state's next great sprinters.

Jonah Stepehens Roye, So. - Milton

After a long and successful sophomore season, the emerging hurdler appears to be one of the state's best in the discipline.

Stephens Roye scored seven wins across the 100m and 400m hurdles this spring and has emerged as one of the state's best. On Wednesday, the underclassman won the 110m hurdles at the BSC Championships, running 14.91, an MA #12, while also setting the state's 10th-fastest time in the 400m hurdles.

Leksi Sullivan, Fr. - Weston

After competing just once this season, the freshman ran a 5:01 in the one-mile on Wednesday.

Sullivan finished third in the event at the Dual County League Championships, setting the state's seventh fastest time in the event and running the fastest time by a freshman this spring. Earlier this season, the underclassman won the 400m dash at a Tri-Meet, while also finishing second in the 800m and appears to be a budding star in the distance events.
