The middle school outdoor track & field season is coming to a close, and today, we take a look at who finished at the top of their respective events. Here are some of the Bay State's next stars!

Sprint Events - Top Performers
Justin Kwarteng, Central Tree Middle School - The short sprint standout capped a strong championship showing with a win in the 100m dash, running 11.59 to take the Division 1 CMass title. The performance puts a bow on a dominant spring where he has consistently been one of the top sprint threats in the state, with his speed translating across every round of competition.
Bradlee Thevenin, Lowell Community Charter Public School - Thevenin broke through with a big win in the 400m dash at EAA Meet 3, running 53.21 to take the title. The rising star, who is just in 7th grade, continues to trend upward in the sport's longest sprint, and that time firmly establishes him as one of the top middle school quarter-milers in the region.
Maeve Cabral, Furnace Brook Middle School - Cabral picked up a win in the 200m dash at a tri-meet, continuing a steady run of success this spring. While still developing as a sprinter, she has shown she can replicate her best day after day and has begun carving out a strong presence in the shorter sprint events.

Field Events - Top Performers
Tristan Feinstein, Mohawk Trail Regional High School - Feinstein delivered a strong mark in the pole vault, clearing 11-0 en route to a win at the Bement Invitational. The performance highlights one of the top emerging vaulters in the middle school ranks, with strong showings across the spring season.
Brayden Kurczy, Whitinsville Christian MS - Kurczy added another win in the discus, throwing 111-2 at Middle School Meet #6 to put a close to a strong season in the circle. The mark kept him among the top throwers in the state and he showed steady improvement as the season concludes.
Hunter Pierre-Louis, Xaverian Brothers - Pierre-Louis finished runner-up in the long jump with an 18-5 effort at the Catholic Conference JV Meet, showing he deserves his ranking on the final middle school leaderboard. The jump adds to a solid season where he has remained a frequent podium presence.
Distance Events - Top Performers
Laminee Sesay, Eaglebrook School - Sesay picked up a win in the 800m at the NMH vs Deerfield JV meet, running 2:22 to lead the field. The performance adds to a strong spring where he has shown steady progression in the mid-distance events and continues to be a reliable scorer for Eaglebrook.
