James Joyce (Cohasset) clocked 11.32 in the 100 meters at Cohasset vs Mashpee on April 28, dropping from his previous personal record of 12.59 set in May 2024. The time places him #74 among 4,437 Massachusetts sprinters and earned second place out of 13 competitors.
Ian Watson (Dover Sherborn Regional) threw 46-1 in the shot put at Medfield vs Dover Sherborn on April 28, bettering his previous mark of 39-7 from April 2026. The senior's throw ranks #45 statewide and #22 among senior throwers, winning the event in a field of 18.
