        Reigning MIAA Western Division 2 Championship winner, Chris Vayda of Hampshire Regional High School, leads our list of Western Division 2 returning boys. Running a personal best time of 16:25.00 at the Amherst Invitational, Vayda is the only runner on the list below 17:00. Vayda would win the division 2 race at the MIAA Western Division Championships by 21 seconds, and was 41 seconds ahead of the closest 2019 returner - Dennis Simmons of Mohawk Trail Regional High School. Vayda would go on to finish 26th at the MIAA All State Finals.
