Leading the pack of Eastern Division 4 runners heading into the 2019 Cross Country season is Plymouth South High School's rising senior, Strickland Davis. Davis ran his personal best 5k time of 16:09.10 at the Bob McIntyre Twilight Invitational where he brought home 7th place in the Division 2 race. Davis would go on to finish 14th in the Division 2 race at the 2018 MIAA All State Finals. With six of the runners that finished ahead of Davis at the MIAA All State Finals meet having graduated in 2019, Davis is a threat for the Division 2 title this upcoming season.
