Weekend Wrap-Up: Things Are Starting To Heat Up!

Twilight Invitational - Division 2 Girls

First-year cross-country runner Sarah Roffman furthered solidified her status as a top competitor this fall by breaking 18 minutes in this race where she was timed in PB of 17:57.40. She is already a winner from last month's Frank Kelley Invitational and was a runner-up at the Bay State Invite.

"I'm super happy," Roffman stated. "I said I would be happy if I ran 18:30. To break 18,  I am super thrilled. Things have been going well so that's also great."

Nauset Regional's Madaket Nobili was second in the race at 18:00.8. With two more of her teammates - Tara Ellard (eighth, 18:44.5) and Rebekah Pranga (14th, 19:06.3) - among the top half of the field, Nauset Regional claimed the team crown, defeating Lenox Memorial, 70-88.
