Class A Girls
Led by an impressive victory from Margaret Donahue, Wellesley cruised to the team title, scoring just 32 points. Wachusett Regional was second with 63. The Red Raiders had all five of their scoring runners among the first 10 placements to snare the 'W'.
Donahue thwarted off a challenge by twin sisters Sarah and Kaitlyn Roffman of Littleton and broke the tape at 18:41.87. Sarah Roffman was second at 18:43.15, while Kaitlyn finished at 19:00.30 for third. Just like the Roffamns, this is Donahue's first cross-country season. She's a sub five-minute miler. But as evident by her race at Bay State, the longer distances appear to suit her fine as well.
