In a close battle for the team prize, Central Catholic held off North Andover and Woburn for the boys' Div. 2 crown. Central Catholic scored 68 points, just two ahead of Andover. Woburn was third with 60 points.
Host Marshfield won the 4x800m (8:23.07) and the 4x1600m (18:20.21) relays. The Rams withstood heated competition in both events. Finishing second in the 4x800m was Natick (8:25.78). Central Catholic snagged runner-up honors in the 4x1600m (18:21.78).
North Andover dipped under 3:30 to take the hardware in the 4x400m, an event it combined for a winning time of 3:27.51.
Mascononet combined for a time of 10:58.59 for first in the DMR.
Central Catholic racked up a considerable amount of its points in the field events, winning three gold medals in the pole vault (10.82m), shot put (42.80m) and discus (106.61) relays.
