It may be a surprise to the Cross-Country community on the west coast, but certainly not for the fans here in Massachusetts. Thomas Ratcliffe ran his first cross country race today at the Stanford Invitational, and he wasted no time making an impact. The former Concord Carlisle standout was first to cross the line at 23:17 for the Stanford 8K course. Ratcliffe ran as an "unattached"athlete as he will most likely be heading towards Red Shirting his first year. The Cardinals are currently ranked 11th in the most recent NCAA Polls. He would certainly help the Cardinals this year. Lets wait and see if he puts on that Cardinal uniform in the weeks ahead.
