Fall 2015 has been a bumpy road for this young lady, as
she has dealt with nagging injuries and many questions about the potential of
defending her titles. Though those moments of difficulty and weeks of
frustration are draining, they are also advantageous. Those real lows give you
an edge in the do-or-die moments of a race when a split-second of doubt flashes
in your head and you realize how you bad you want to succeed. This is what
defending divisional champion and all-state champion Kaley
Richards of Lowell will look to show this Saturday. While the
Lowell senior might be a bit behind her 2014 performances, her excellent resume
simply cannot be overlooked and she will undoubtedly be a contender on
Saturday. We cannot promise Richards that it will be easy, however, and her
