Boy's Eastern Mass State Championships Preview
It's the best time of the season, November! Time to see if
all those summer miles, fall workouts, and Sunday long runs were worth it. Whether
you raced early at Amherst, at historic Franklin Park mid- season or on the
track at Twilight; the only course that matters now is Wrentham. Time to put
the GPS watches and measuring wheels away. Coaches and athletes can question
course lengths all they want, but the only thing that matters is racing when it
counts the most. The top 4 teams in each Division and the top 10 individuals
not on a qualifying team make it to the big dance at Stanley Park in Westfield.
There will be one wildcard team for the two All-State Divisions. That team must
be 5th in their division and have the lowest average team time. Time
to take a look at potential teams that will hold up that mini state of
Massachusetts trophy.
