The New England Patriots and the Mass X-C fans are both suffering from same problem, it's a bye weekend for both. The Cross Country community got a glimpse at most of the teams around the state last weekend, and just like the Pats fans we must wait out this stretch until we can catch some more action. The month of October gives X-C coaches many options as they prepare their teams for the Championship season. Here is a look at some of those meets in the weeks ahead.
Oct 3rd: Woods Trail Run- Thetford, Vt.
The Woods Trail Run in Thetford, Vt is certainly one of the most unique X-C races around. The course is one of the toughest courses in New England. The Varsity runners are separated by seed times, and potentially placed in three different races. Once all three races are completed, then they team scores are tallied up based on time.
