The Eastern Mass D4 Meet should hold no surprises for the fans. Andrew Ernst, now a senior at Marblehead, will be arriving looking for victory--for both himself and his team. Ernst brings unquestionable talent to the boys competition, as does his fellow Marblehead harriers who are returning a strong varsity squad this year.

This year's top returner in D4 is Andrew Ernst, a standout from last year's competition. Ernst was 3rd at the 2014 Eastern D4 States Championships and came back to take 2nd at All-States. Finishing higher at All-States in an accomplishment that should not be taken lightly and speaks to his fitness and talent as a cross country runner. Ernst's All-States performance is even more impressive considering he beat both Mike Famiglietti and Austin Scola--the 1st and 2nd-place finishers at States--soundly, with more than 10 seconds to spare.
