Tomorrow night the defending Division 1 champ, Jonathan Derolus (Brockton), will have his work cut out for him in the 55m. Considered one of the fastest boys in New England, Derolus is certainly a favorite tomorrow and his 6.54 just last week proves he is capable of a repeat victory. It will not come easy though, as Delorus is going to have deal with the likes of Cody Trudel from Westford Academy. Two weeks ago, Trudel blazed a 6.53 and enters Saturday's race as the top seed. Another legitimate contender on Wednesday will be Jeremy Thaller of Acton-Boxborough. Currently sitting as the third-fastest boy in the state with his 6.55 in January, Thaller is more than ready to get out of the blocks quickly and break the tape first.
