Zach Rolfe’s ultimate destination is Eugene, Ore., but for now the Parker Charter sophomore is satisfied with a weekend trip to the Bronx. Someday, the goal-oriented Rolfe would like to run for the University of Oregon. This November, though, the Bears’ No. 1 runner and co-captain hopes to qualify for the Foot Locker Northeast Regionals at Van Cortlandt Park in New York.
“Overall, I want to be the best I can possibly be and I want to be a good captain,” said Rolfe, a 2012 T&G Super Team All-Star. “I want to help the younger kids grow.”
