MSTCA Spring Relays - Div. 1 2013

The running community has really rallied together after the events of April 15th. The MSTCA has donated $5000 for the One Fund, and then raised another $5000 at the recent State Relay Championships. It's an amazing outpouring of support by our Association and the Track and Field community throughout the state.

Deep and tough proved to be Weston’s calling card. The meet was dubbed as the Div. 4 State Coaches Relays but it was Weston that turned the competition into its own highlight reel show at John B. Reilly Field. John Monz’s boys’ and girls’ teams combined for six victories to take both team titles, closing out two days of relay meets across Eastern Mass.

  Another year and another title for the Newton North girls’ track team as the Tigers took home their fourth consecutive Division 1 Massachusetts State Track Coaches Relays title on Sunday. The Tigers racked up 73 points in the victory while for the fourth consecutive year Andover finished second (63).

No surprise at the Division 1 meet as the two favorite teams took home the trophies !!

The ultimate team championship is on tap this weeked around Massachusetts and Milesplitmass will have as much coverage as possible all weekend long.
