Bring it on! The annual Battle of the Border, a meet that squares off teams from New Hampshire and Massachusetts in a battle for bragging rights, will be held Saturday afternoon at Alvirine High (NH). With the use of our Virtual Meet, we took results from meets this past month (and a little more) and compiled a pair of mock meets based on top performances from individuals from the respective schools. Due to the fact that it is still early and some schools still have not exposed their top guns to the starting line, at least at full strength, we know that these meets are not completely accurate when providing a picture of how the meet will turn out, but it does give you a good indicator as to what might transpire out on the trails. Of note, it has been stated that the Lowell boys could be sending their JV squad to the meet. Our preview here is based on the potential of their varsity answering the gun. Also, we did not have enough information about the Marshfield boys so we added the best performances from their top returnees.

Check out our results. It looks like things could get interesting in the boys' competition.
