Girls 55m + long jump
Brianna Duncan is maybe the best all-around athlete in Massachusetts, as she won the 100, long jump, and triple jump at the MIAA All-State Outdoor meet in June. She's competed heavily this winter, doing a short sprint and at least one jump at six meets already and occasionally dabbling in the 300m.
The Cambridge Rindge & Latin senior covered 55 meters in 7.05 seconds at Yale last week. If she can go sub-7.10 again on Sunday, she'll break a meet record that's two years older than me. Jackie Smith ran 7.10 in 1987 and no one has gone faster at this meet since.
