Wachusett boys won by 17 over Shrewsbury. Wachusett girls won by 30 over Algonquin.
Connor McDavitt (Wachusett)won the 55m hurdles in 7.93. His time is MA#10.
Sophomore Brandon Lambert of North Middlesex (6.87) edged Jeff Baum of Shrewsbury (6.89) in the 55m. Lambert also ran 6.86 in the semi-finals.
John Murray (Shrewsbury) won the mile in 4:32.66. Murray also anchored his team to a 8:47.91 win in the 4x800m.
Wachusett won a close one in the 4x400m. Their time of 3:48.13 was 0.70 better than second place Marlborough.
Alexa Fearing (Marlborough) won the shot put at 34'8" but Kelsea Shea (Shrewsbury) and Gena Catalucci (Wachusett) tied at 33'3". Shea was awarded 2nd place based on her second best mark of 33'2.75".
Haley Laird (Algonquin) continues her quest to be the best high jumper in the state. She won the event at 5'6". Her mark is tied for MA#2 with Moira Cronin of Andover. Both are only 2" behind Kristen McDonagh of Mansfield.
Rebecca Skodis (11:34.40) and Katie Carlson (11:37.50) of Wachusett went 1-2 in the 2 mile.
Haven Jones (Algonquin) ran back-to-back 7.49 times in the semi-finals and finals of the 55m to win the event.
Freshman Dominique Hall (Shrewsbury) won the 300m in 43.66. She still holds the fastest freshman time in the state at 41.80.
Laura Williamson (Wachusett) won the 1000m in 3:06.73. Her time is MA#4.
The Algonquin girls just missed the 4x220y relay meet record of 1:52.64 set by Shrewsbury in 2009. They won the event in 1:52.94.

Sutton won the boys meet by 24 points; Bromfield won the girls by 34 points.
Brett Buskey (Blackstone-Millville) set a new meet record in the 55m; running 6.64 in the finals. He also ran 6.69 in the semi-finals.
St. Peter Marian's boys 4x220y relay team just missed the meet record of 1:42.44 set in 2004 by Oxford. They won the event in 1:42.70.
Renee and Anna Capps (Narragansett) controlled the distance races. Renee won the mile in 5:31.75 and Anna won the 2 mile in 11:53.77.
