Races offered and order of races with approximate starting times
10:00am Girls A Race
10:30 am Girls B Race
11:00 am Girls C Race
11:30pm Boys A Race
12:00pm Boys B Race
12:30pm Boys C Race
FORMAT: This is a Varsity only competition for teams to have a chance to compete on the MIAA All State
meet course. Teams may enter one team per gender of 10 athletes with NFHS scoring rules. Teams will
be placed in divisions by a seeding committee to create 6 equal / balanced races. Teams racing both
gender races will be assigned to the same division. Division assignments will be posted on
www.mstca.org by Wednesday October 19, 2016.
TIME LIMITS-We will not time athletes who cant meet the following standards for that race-the chute
will be closed. These limits are established/reviewed by the MSTCA XC Committee each year.
Boys Races: 21 Minutes Girls Races: 25 minutes
Awards : Individual: Top 25
Team Awards : Top 2 teams per Division
Entry Fees: $100 per gender team . All POs, checks or single payment must be received prior to the
