Amy Piccolo Sophomore Ursuline Academy
The dynamic Sophomore won and set a record in the 600 Meter Run this past weekend at the Auerbach Freshman Sophmore Meet. Her time of 1:35.11 is now the state's fastest time in the 600 Meters. A few weeks ago she captured the 300 Meter run at the Boston Holiday Challenge, her time of 40.79 also leads the State of Massachusetts. The versatile Piccolo also is an impressive relay runner , long Jumper, Javelin thrower, Sprinter, Miler, and pretty much anything else that Coach Tom Shaw throws at her. Sam Stubbs Freshman Cambridge Ringe and Latin
Sam Stubbs has pretty much started right where he left off in Cross-Country. He started off the Indoor Track season by winning the Winter Festival with an incredible freshman time of 9:53. He followed that up with a win this past weekend in the Freshman-Sophmore One Mile Run. Although only a small sample to pool from, his time of 4:41 is leading all Freshman in the United States in that event. His victory Saturday showed signs of his finishing kick that we will all have the pleasure of watching for four more years.
