GARDNER -- Nashoba Regional girls' cross country coach Dan Glover knew he had a talented team to start the season, but he could not have fathomed the squad being this good. The Chieftains dominated the field, as freshman sensation Rylee Gillen placed first overall and the rest of the Nashoba scorers finished in the top 15, en route to a first-place team finish at Saturday's Central Mass. Division 1 championship at Gardner Municipal Golf Course.
The entire Nashoba squad advances to next Saturday's state championship at Northfield Mountain.
