Nashoba's Gillen a Rising Star

BOLTON -- When a team loses its star runner, a setback usually isn't far behind. But that's not the case for the Nashoba Regional girls' cross country team this season. The Chieftains returned four of their five top runners from last year and added an impact freshman who could be the next star in the making. As a result, Nashoba has a solid chance of making some noise at the Division 1 district and state meets when championship season rolls around. "Winning the district is definitely a goal. Whether it happens or not, you never know," Nashoba Regional head coach Dan Glover said. "You never know who's going to show up on any given day. Wachusett lost some runners and is always strong, but I think we can give them a run for their money.
