Coach Greg Zopatti acknowledges that this “sounds crazy,” but he thinks the 2012 edition of the Pembroke High boys cross country team could be the program’s best ever. That’s saying something. The Titans qualified for the Nike Cross Country Nationals in 2009 and 2010 and were nosed out of an invitation last year when they finished runner-up to Bishop Feehan in the Div. 2 All-State meet, denying their quest for a three-peat.
