A year ago, Miller’s girls put forth a grand effort. “[It} was an excellent fall for us. We won the Bay State League, kept our unbeaten streak going at 25 straight meets, and won our second straight Eastern Mass. Title,” said Miller. “Coming into last season, our third goal was to win another All State title, but injuries caused us to end up third, not that there's anything to be disappointed about. I think it was an overall success, and the kids that are still here feel we have set the bar high and we have more to achieve.” To continue the level of excellence that Weymouth girls’ cross-country has attained will be difficult, but not insurmountable.
