New England Championships - Meet records for O'Keefe, Robinson, and Bloomfield 4x400m Relay

 

 

Kathy O'Keefe (Newton South, MA) ran 4:54.82 in the mile to break Arianna Vailas' 2010 meet record of 4:56.37.

Rebecca Robinson (Arlington, MA) dominated the 300 Meter Dash again. She broke Allison Cully's 1998 record of 39.45 by winning the event in 39.08. Robinson's time is US#7.

Bloomfield High School (CT) set a new meet record of 3:56.17 in the girls 4x400 Meter Relay. Their time is tied for US#14.

Greg Boursiquot (Stoughton, MA) ran a US#4 time of 7.35 in the prelims of the 55 Meter Hurdles. He would return to win the event in 7.45 and remains undefeated on the season.

Alex Levine (Danbury, CT) won the 1000 Meter Run in a US#10 time of 2:28.97.

Alisha McAdams (N. Kingstown, RI) handed Lindsay Crevoiserat (Glastonbury, CT) a rare loss in the 2 mile. McAdams would close a 30 meter gap and take the lead with 5 laps to go en route to a 10:42.36 winning time. Glastonbury would take the next three spots with Crevoiserat in second (10:49.86), Reid Waston in third (11:03.72), and Cara Dorris in fourth (11:07.62). 

Maya Walton (Danbury, CT) continued her undefeated season by winning the Long Jump at 18'5.25". She barely edged Wahnetah Carty (Norwich Free, CT) who finished second at 18'5".

 

Lincoln-Sudbury is tied for US#2 with their 9:13.72 performance in the 4x800 Meter Relay. Andrea Keklak split 2:09.4 as the anchor leg.

Acton-Boxboro runs a new school record and US#10 time of 7:56.76 to win the 4x800 Meter Relay.
