Izzy Goudros, a Harvard University senior from Ontario, made waves recently by shattering the 300m record at the Battle in Beantown, clocking an impressive 37.34 seconds-surpassing the previous school record of 37.47 set by Olympic gold medalist Gabby Thomas in 2017.

Starting her first year (2021-22) strong, Goudros earned a bronze medal in long jump at the Ivy & HBCU Challenge with a 6.00m jump. She also won two golds at the BU Battle in Beantown and broke Harvard's school long jump record with 6.18m during the pentathlon at the Crimson Elite. She went on to earn Second Team All-American honors at the NCAA Indoor National Championship.

In her sophomore year (2022-23), Goudros continued to dominate, winning the 60m and long jump at the HYP meet. She broke the Ivy League and Harvard records with her 4x400m relay team and went on to earn four medals at the Ivy League Indoor Championships, including gold in the 4x400m. Her talent in the heptathlon   also took centre stage where she broke records in both the school and Ivy League, qualifying for NCAA Outdoor Championships.

By her junior year (2023-24), Goudros earned USTFCCCA All-America honours and was named to the All-Ivy League Second Team in the 100m hurdles. She was integral in helping her 4x400m relay team qualify for the NCAA Championships and finished fourth in both the 100m hurdles and long jump at the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships.
