Top 100 Returning Eastern Division 2 Boys Runners

        Mike Griffin of King Philip Regional High School barely pipped William Chaffin from Concord Carlisle High School for the top returning Eastern Division 2 boy athlete for 2019. Both running their personal record at the Division 2 race at the 2018 MIAA Eastern Division Championships, Griffin came out of top finishing 4th in the race with a time of 15:52.60 compared to Chaffin's 6th place finish with a time of 15:53.90. The two rising Seniors performed well at the MIAA All State Finals meet the following weekend, with Griffin coming out on top again. Griffin would finish 9th in the snowy race with a time of 16:42.31. Chaffin ended up finishing 18th, a bit over 10 seconds behind Griffin.
