EMass Division 2 - Girls 100m Hurdles

The state's top two hurdlers are matched together in this race, which could be a preview of next weekend's All State Meet. Belmont's Anoush Krafian, the defending state champion, holds the No. 1 seed. She tied her PR of 14.64 from last year's All State meet at the recent Middlesex Championships. She's a veteran of these pressure-filled races. She also was our 55m hurdle indoor state titlist. Sharon's Jada Johnson is certainly a possible contender to steal that crown away from Krafain. Johnson clocked an all-time best of 14.78 in her preliminary heat at the recent Hockmock League Championships. She eventually finished fourth overall. This could be a breakthrough race for her if she can match (or exceed) what she did in the prelimins and upset Krafain.
