The Notre Dame Last Chance Meet saw several athlete improve on their season performances on Monday.
Marshfield's James Condon moved up to No. 6 in the state rankings for 800 meters with a winning time of 1 minutes, 57.66 seconds. Condon was comfortably ahead of teammate Liam Hipwell, who was second at 2:01.18. This spring, more than 40 runners have clocked a time of two minutes or faster!
Aiden Felty of Innovation Academy improved on his best in the shot put with a heave of 58 feet, 9.75 inches. He currently ranks No. 2 in the state.
In the high jump, Milton's Smith Charles leaped a season best of 6-4. That effort presently is tied for No. 3 statewide.
Jayda Dillon of Milton improved her ranking to No. 7 on the list by taking the 400m dash with PR of 58.14. North Quincy's Devin Hiltunen also dipped under a minute, taking runner-up honors in 59.99.
Natick is now sixth in the rankings for the 4x800m relay. The Red Hawks won Monday's race with a combined time of 9:41.47.
