Six Events You Can't Miss At Coaches Invitational!

Girls' 400m

Eight runners in the field have broken a minute, and No. 9 is at a minute exactly. That's a fast field! The No. 1 seed is Jahphiah Gilliard, a senior from West Roxbury. Gilliard ran a PR of 56.47 last year at the Eastern Division 3 State Meet and this past Saturday clocked 57.67 to win the 400m at the Greater New Bedford Sunset Invitational. Her top competition will be Woburn's middle-distance star Avery Leydon. The senior standout ran a PR of 2:15.27 for 800m at the Twilight Invitational and has a 56.89 best for the one-lapper. There's also Beverly's gifted tenth-grader and defending champion India Ingemi. In 2017, Ingemi broke the tape with a winning time and PR of 57.99.
