After a quiet first few weeks, the outdoor track and field season explodes this weekend with six relays events being held at various venues. Saturday at West Springfield High is the annual George Steele Relays. The District E Relays, which will take place at Clinton for boys and Nashoba Regional for girls, will also be held on Saturday.
The weekend will also be occupied by the popular divisional Spring Relays. Division 1 (Lincoln-Sudbury) and Division 4 (Apponequet Regional) are scheduled for Saturday and Division 2 (Walpole) and Division 3 (North Reading) will contest on Sunday.
