The All State Championships this past Saturday was another one for the ages. A multitude of our athletes not only moved up the state rankings, but made some noise nationally, too. Here's a rundown our girls' winners this weekend. Once you've viewed the list, vote for the performance(s) you feel was the best of them all. Voting ends Friday at midnight.
- Springfield Central's Kyla Hill dominated the 55m dash with a winning time of 7.14.
- Bromfield School's Chloe Alfieri captures 300m dash with fast 39.30 clocking.
- Wellesley's Abby Comella took the 600m title with a time of 1:35.95.
- Acton-Boxborough's Samantha Friborg broke the tape in the 1,000m with a time of 2:49.26.
- Newton South's Lucy pulled away from the field with 400m left to take the mile with a time of 5:01.05.
- Amherst-Pelham's Sophia Jacobs-Townsley held off Newton South's Caroline Barry to snare the two-mile title in 10:54.41.
- Hingham's Zoe Dainton cleared a PR of 5-9 to win her second straight high jump crown
- Newton North's Natalie Marshall defeated a field that included eight athletes over 17 feet in the ling jump with a winning leap of 17-9.25.
- Seekonk's Cameron Garabian heaved the shot a first-place distance of 43-8.25.
- Belmont's Anoush Krafian edged Medway's Ava Vasile in the 55m hurdles with a time of 8.25
- Andover took the 4x200m relay with a time of 1:44.29.
- Wellesley thwarted off a strong effort by Andover to win the 4x400m relay in 3:57.62
- Newton South combined for a state best of 9:24.31 in the 4x800m relay.
