Five Events To Watch At Coaches Invitational!

Girls' High Jump - Large School

As we mentioned before in our earlier article, this could be a preview of next month's All State Championships. We have three jumpers that have exceeded 5-6, including the defending state and New England champion, Zoe Dainton of Hingham. Dainton owns the No.1 leap in the field with her best of 5-8 from last year's Division 3 State Meet. She has a season best of 5-6. Julia Jordahl-Henry, who was second to Dainton at the All State Meet, has done 5-7.75 outdoors. Her sister, Anna Jordahl-Henry could be concentrating solely on the 300m, where she currently ranks No. 3 in the state with a best of 40.61. If she competes in the vertical leap, she's a worthy contender with a best of 5-6. There's also newcomer and sophomore Lila Belsher of Hingham, who has shown plenty of promise this season and has cleared a PB of 5-4 on a few occasions.
