Rising star Kerry O'Connor of Milford was the best among 281 competitors in this race. The promising freshmen clocked a winning time of 42.97. North Attleboro's Celine Ibrahim was second at 43.45. O'Connor's time currently ranks No. 20 in he country for ninth-graders. Rounding out the top five finishers were North Quincy's Devin Hiltunen (third, 43.49), Innovation Academy's Rebecca Reynolds (fourth, 43.67) and Pentucket's Syeira Campbell (fifth, 43.68).
