PA's top sprinters, and one of the all-time top 800 runners take on top talent in Boston at NIN.

Sprint Events

Romarr Mayne, the 2009 Indoor Champion in the 60 dash, has a lot of momentum behind him that he can ride to an All-American placing with perhaps a very high placing.  Ramaan Ansley, Rico Goldstone, Chris Houston and Brandon Neal will also compete in this event.  Rayiana Johnson, also the 2009 Indoor Champion, has been running like a lightning bolt all season and will be hard to stop.  Lauren Eagan, Courtney Kedra, Alexa Keehfuss, Kayla Lee and Jayee Wright will also compete.

Romarr Mayne had an unfortunate start in the 200 at states so this is his chance for redemption.  Also competing are Eric Brundidge, Chris Houston, Julian Brown and Keenan Allen.  Shanae Bailey, 2009 Indoor runner-up, will be competing in the 200 meter dash and has the chance to shine for PA with Rayiana out.  Randi Booth, Elizabeth Daniels, Shannon Daniels, Lauren Eagan, Cara Hughes, Courtney Kedra and Vanessa Mack will also compete in the 200 meter dash.

Tyler McKee and Chris Melton will compete in the boys 400 meter dash.

Distance Events

The boys 800 will be stacked with PA talent, including the top-4 from the state meet.  Tom Mallon has a fast track and plenty of competition to help him try to take down the Junior National Record that he was just behind at the state meet.  Pushing him the distance will be Michael Palmisano and Paul Reilly.  Kevin Hull will also be up in the race.  Indoor State mile champion Ivo Milic-Strkalj will also try to mix it up over 800 meters.  Chris Gregorski and Dereck White will also compete.  Taylor Bumpas will compete in the girls 800 meter run.

The boys 1 mile run will feature 2009 indoor champion Ivo Milic-Strkalj and T.J. Hobart, who looked real good until he fell on the 7th lap.  Patrick DeSabato will also compete in the event.

DeSabato will be doubling in the 2 mile run and will be joined by 2008 AA XC champ Joe Beveridge, who will also compete in the 5000 at NSIC.  Abby Hewitt, the 2009 Indoor champion, and runner-up Jordan Jenkins will compete in the girls 2 mile run.  With solid competition Abby and Jordan could both set nice PR’s and go after All-American status.

Jordan Jenkins will also compete in the girls 5000 meter run.

Relays

Swenson and Central Bucks East (running as W-Koz Elite) will be battling it out again in the girls 4x200 meter relay.  Gwynedd Mercy, St. Basil (running as Jenkintown RC) and Phoenixville will also be competing.  Chestnut Hill Academy will be competing in the boys 4x200 meter relay.

Conestoga (running as the Irish Road Track Club) will be competing in the boys and girls SMR.  St. Basil will also be competing in the girls SMR.
