Defending titlist Hamilton-Wenham Regional could have the right stuff again done this fall. The Generals have five of their seven varsity members returning, including the junior trio of Rebecca Erhard, Grace Maroney and Anna Cassidento. Look for newcomer Ursuline Academy, last year's Div. 6 runner-up, and Sandwich to be battling up front, too. Ursuline is losing just one of its varsity runners from 2016-17 and will be relying on junior Lauren Grela and Catherine Treseler to lead the show. Grela (second) and Treseler (tenth) both were among the top 10 at the divisionals last year. Sandwich is another newcomer, having competed in Div. 4 last fall. Sophomores Emma Eastman, Hannah Hovda and Clara Molloy were the Blue Knights top finishers last year as ninth-graders and will return with another year of experience.
